Auburndale SCREAM is a community-focused competitive soccer club dedicated to developing players at every level. From first touches to advanced competition, we provide a structured pathway, experienced coaching, and a positive environment where players can grow, compete, and succeed.

We use a "Guided Discovery" methodology. Instead of just lecturing, our coaches ask meaningful questions to help players develop their own high-level soccer IQ and problem-solving skills.

Our competitive program doesn't just end at U18. We take players on college tours across the Southeast and facilitate meetings with recruiters. In recent years, we have helped 10+ seniors annually sign with collegiate programs

All coaches are background-checked and held to a strict Code of Conduct. We provide written player evaluations twice a year so parents and athletes know exactly where they stand and how to improve.

02 Attend tryouts

Join us at the elite Lake Myrtle Sports Park. Please arrive 20 minutes early for check-in. Check the schedule above for your specific age group’s date and time. Bring water, cleats, and your "A" game.

03 get invited

After evaluations, coaching staff will extend official invitations via email to selected players. Keep an eye on your inbox—once you receive your invite, follow the link to claim your spot on the roster!

What should my player bring to tryouts?

Players should arrive 20 minutes early for check-in wearing soccer attire (cleats and shin guards are mandatory).

When will we find out if my child made a team?

Invitations are typically sent via email within 24 hours following tryout sessions for that age group. You will receive a link to "Accept" the position and pay the initial commitment deposit.

What happens if my child is not selected for a "Scream" competitive team?

We believe every child should have a place to play. Players not placed on a competitive roster are encouraged to join our Auburndale Recreational League, where they can continue to develop their skills in a fun, community-focused environment.

What is the time commitment for a Competitive team?

Competitive teams typically train two to three nights per week at Lake Myrtle Sports Park. Games are usually held on Saturdays or Sundays. Depending on the age group, teams may participate in 3–5 tournaments per year across Florida.

Are there payment plans available for club fees?

Yes. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we strive to keep soccer accessible. We offer flexible monthly payment plans to spread the cost of registration over the season.

Where are the games played?

Our home matches are held at Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale. Away games are played against other clubs within the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) circuit, typically within the Central Florida region.
